Responsible for maintenance of the computerized Quality Information
System resident on
VAX and IBM mainframe hardware. Responsible for the
organization and maintenance of a Software Quality Assurance Program in
accordance with DOD-STD-2167A, and
RTCA DO-178. Serve as the statistical consultant for the
quality assurance department. Chief continuous improvement
advocate in the Quality Organization. Designed, programmed, and
implemented a system for tracking and reporting Reliability &
Traceability on a Novell Network in
Delphi.
This system is used to track cradle to grave information on aircraft
engines manufactured, and repaired by Hamilton Sundstrand. The
database includes pictures of the engines taken by a digital camera, and
is over 20 gigabytes in size. Designed and implemented a paperless
Software Problem and Corrective Action System on a Novell Network in
Delphi. My applications use
MAPI to be able to directly tie into email for ease of communication
and built-in workflow. Designed, developed, and maintain a
client/server application for creating Action Requests that has been
used for over 10 years, by 1000s of users in many countries. Also
designed, developed and maintained related applications for tracking
turn-backs, software problem reports, FAA 8130 tags, component
traceability data, and audits. |

regarding dimensioning and tolerancing. Promoted to traveling supplier
liaison interfacing between a diverse supplier base, manufacturing
engineering, and subcontract administrators to resolve problems and
expedite deliveries. Coordinated the upgrade of the Supplier Reporting
System to provide meaningful information concerning the cost of quality
and delivery performance.
Developed a quality reporting system for pinpointing problem areas.
